The avocado is colloquially known as the Alligator Pear, reflecting its shape and the leather-like appearance of its skin. Avocado is derived from the Aztec word “ahuacatl”. Avocados are the fruit from Persea americana, a tall evergreen tree that can grow up to 65 feet in height. Avocados vary in weight from 8 ounces to 3 pounds depending upon the variety.

Avocado contains many nutrients that you need in your diet. Ounce for ounce, avocado contains more potassium, which is essential for muscle growth and organ function, than bananas. A 1 oz. serving contains 8 percent of your daily requirement for vitamin K, which aids in blood clotting. Avocados also contain vitamins C and E, antioxidants that keep the immune system strong. Other important nutrients found in avocados include folate, riboflavin, fiber and vitamin B-6. Continue reading

Watermelon is not only great on a hot summer day, this delectable thirst-quencher may also help quench the inflammation that contributes to conditions like asthma, atherosclerosis, diabetes, colon cancer, and arthritis.

The nutritional advantages of eating watermelon are numerous. A 1-cup serving of watermelon contains just 46 calories. The same serving of fresh watermelon also contains small amounts of protein and fiber. Most notably, a serving of watermelon provides you with 12.5 mg of vitamin C, 876 IU of vitamin A and 172 mg of potassium. Watermelon also provides small amounts of other key nutrients, including 0.37 mg of iron and 11 mg of calcium, as well as trace amounts of niacin, thiamin, riboflavin and folic acid.

According to Eugene A. DeFelice, author of “Nutrition and Health,” a major benefit to eating watermelon is the lycopene present in the red flesh of the fruit. The red color of watermelon signifies the presence of lycopene, an antioxidant that may protect your health. Lycopene may be beneficial in reducing your risk of heart disease and certain types of cancer. A 1-cup serving of fresh watermelon contains 6,979 mcg of lycopene. Continue reading

Not only is the bright yellow flesh juicy and delicious, but it is packed with vitamins, minerals and beneficial enzymes. Making pineapple a regular part of your diet can promote good health.

Manganese Content

Pineapple is very rich in manganese, a trace mineral important in the formation of connective tissue and bones. The University of Maryland Medical Center states that manganese also plays a role in the metabolism of fat and carbohydrates, as well as affecting calcium absorption and blood sugar regulation. In addition, manganese is vital for normal brain and nerve function, and has antioxidant properties. The World’s Healthiest Foods states that 1 cup of pineapple delivers 2.56 mg, which is 128 percent of the daily recommended value.

Vitamin C

Pineapples are an excellent source of vitamin C, yielding 23.87 mg a cup and contributing 40 percent of the recommended daily value. The World’s Healthiest Foods notes that vitamin C is the body’s most important water-soluble antioxidant, helping to protect against damage from free radicals and thereby helping to reduce incidence of atheroclerosis and diabetic heart disease. Vitamin C may also help cut risk of colon cancer and reduce inflammation in joint diseases.

Introduction to Symptometry

Definition of Symptometry
Symptometry is not alternative medicine and it is not allopathic (drug) medicine.  It is applied therapeutic science that removes the health disruptors from a person’s cells and from h/her circulatory and lymphatic systems. Then, it properly nourishes h/her cells and glands in order to restore health at the cellular and DNA levels.

This is the first time in the history of human civilization that such a system has been invented to address the needs of DNA. This goes far beyond stem cell research and human anatomy and physiology.

Symptometry is the most scientific and logical way to help a person to heal at the cellular and DNA levels.   Its sole objective is to help a person to live in a disease free body indefinitely.
